5.0 out of 5 stars Stellar mid-tower case with cool military-style visual cues, July 5, 2012

Whoa, this is a Corsair case? The Vengeance C70 case has a bold and distinctive appearance, unlike Corsair's Obsidian, Graphite, and Carbide cases. Those cases, on the whole, have very clean and classy aesthetics. Their spartan design is what I found so attractive about them. The C70s military-style look is quite a departure for Corsair. But is it still a rock-solid Corsair case?

PROS:
- Distinctive, military-style appearance
- Durable steel construction
- Roomy interior to work in
- Plenty of cooling options
- Tool-free drive bays
- Great cable management
- Three washable dust filters

CONS:
- Front dust filter isn't easily accessible

IN THE BOX
Quick start guide
Nylon zip ties
Hard drive and motherboard screws
2.5-inch and SSD flat screws
USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 motherboard adapter

DESIGN
When you look at the C70, you can't help but notice the unmistakable military-style... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Corsair Goes Green (Military Green), August 19, 2012
By
Steve Rondeau (San Diego, CA United States) - See all my reviews
So what if you took a munitions canister and turned it into a full tower case? LOL Yah, Corsair did it.

Using a military ammunition canister for inspiration, they created a gorgeous case complete with safety cover on the reset and slap down mechanical latches for the side panels.
What's that you say?
No more unscrewing side panel screws to get into my case? ...Corsair, you had me at "Ammunition Case."

To give you an idea of the level of thought they put into this case:
- The fan mounting holes come with rubber tube inserts that help with vibration of the fans while mounted.
-3 Slotted rubber access panels clean-looking wire management (1 by the power supply and 1 at the middle and 1 at the top). There is 1 port in the back panel to run your 6/8 pin power to the CPU also.
- Back panel access for installing heavy duty CPU heat sinks or water cooling CPU blocks
- Custom clips to hold wires to the case in the back of the base (so you... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Gaming Case., July 9, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
After doing much research, I decided on this case for my personal gaming system. The package arrived mostly intact, though Corsair ought to add some sort of brace to the front and back of their packages to keep the dust filter from sliding out. Mine came with it slid out and slightly fractured during shipment. It wasn't a full break, so probably not worth complaining to either Corsair or Amazon about. Despite reading some reviews about the two feet bars being broken during transit, mine were not and the styrofoam was thick enough that I couldn't see that happening. Still at this price range would have bee nice if they had packed it in soft foam.

The case itself is quite nice. I went with the green color, and was pleasantly surprised to see how subdued it was. At a distance you might not even notice the green, but you'd probably do a double take upon seeing it. However, just about everything you'd install into the front panel will color clash with the green, so keep this in... Read more
