The quality of this case is excellent and would have cost double or even triple the asking price 5 years ago. That being said, I'll lay this review out in pro/con format because there are some things that could be improved.Pros: *Excellent build quality, nice and sturdy with some good weight to it. The edges aren't razor sharp. *Good cable management with some nice grommets included. *Tall rubber feet, especially helpful if you end up placing the tower on the floor. *SATA dock on top! Absolutely love this feature, plastic cover slides in place when not in use. *LED fan has an off switch for the lights. *SSD 2.5">3.5" adapter included and plenty of room for drives. *Good amount of thumb screws and hardware included. Cons: *Hard to remove some of the filters for cleaning. *There was enough space behind the backplate... This is very close to a perfect mid tower case no matter what you use your PC for. Very easy to build and looks great without being too gaudy. Lots of room inside for just about anything, you can even fit two 240mm radiators in here if you remove the HDD cage. The XDock works well, just make sure you have a free AHCI sata port or it only work as a regular HDD (no hot swap). The only problems I have with it are: The weight, it's heavy when loaded. I think they could have shaved off a few pounds with some aluminum parts, it's over 20 pounds without anything in it. The side panel fan slots are poorly placed. If you use a CPU cooler, like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 like I have, it blocks the upper fan slot. If they have placed them side-by-side, this would have alleviated this problem. Cooler Master engineers just don't learn from their mistakes. They, again, put... Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Shaw M. I'm really satisfied by the great quality and practicality of this case. This case can handle pretty much anything a mid-level computer-builders' needs. It supports up to 11 fans, has a lot space inside and great air flow. I would recommend this case to anyone. |
